Approximately every hour a United States veteran takes their own life. Current estimates place almost 40% of homeless in America are veterans. Why are our veterans facing such issues and not better cared for? What programs can be put into place to help not only veterans but their families? Cornelius Maxwell has the answer with the transition unit theory.
With transition units veterans now find a way to use the skills they have acquired in the military and apply them to civilian life. Through the transition unit theory we establish a path forward for helping those afflicted by PTSD and Battle Fatigue better adjust to the norms of society that do not exist in military life. Through these programs veterans and their families can also learn some of the triggers that are brought about by these conditions and how to deal with them.
