DnB Ep 237: Mandalay Bay and the Route 91 Massacre 2 Years Later with Mike Turber of 5X5 News

In this episode of the Dudes n Beer podcast host Christopher Jordan welcomes back investigator and head of 5X5 News, Mike Turber to discuss the latest developments in the now closed case of the Route 91 Massacre outside of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

On the night of October 1st 2017 what was to be a peaceful music festival became the scene of a living nightmare when gunman Stephen Paddock opened up fire on the crowd of concert goers below from his 32nd floor window. After a hail of gunfire lasting almost 2o minutes Stephen apparently took his own life, bringing the death toll to 59 and the total injuries by gunfire to 422 making the incident the largest mass shooting in the history of America to date and a rallying cry for gun activists across the country. But what do we really know about the case? With the local sheriffs department under indictment for hiding information from the press to charges of corruption within and even the now known fact of the body of Stephen Paddock being moved, why was the case closed without a motive to be found in sight? What made a seemingly low profile man of means perpetrate such a heinous act? Where do the “Conspiracy Theories” end and the known facts begin? What does the gunman’s family have to say about the man, the incident and the aftermath?

Join the Dudes n Beer podcast as we once again welcome investigator and head of 5X5 News Mike Turber to talk about the unknown facts behind on of the biggest stories scrubbed by the media and withheld from the public eye in this special Mandalay Bay Route 91 Massacre 2 years after episode.
