LIVE ep 61: Dakota Pipeline Protests, Hunger Games in Venezuela and Government Supported Corporate Greed – Tonight Sept 6th at 8pm cst

In this episode of the Dudes and Beer podcast host Christopher Jordan is joined in studio by Nelson Kugle, Steven Bishop and special in studio guest to discuss the Dakota Pipeline protests, turmoil in Venezuela and Government supported corporate greed. How are laws passed without the consent of the people? From the Monsanto Protection Act being written by a senator backed by Monsanto and passed by former lawyer of Monsanto who is now head of the FDA, to the Nestle corporation buying water rights from public aquifers we see the far reaching arm of corporate greed being propped up by the US Government on a regular basis. But how far does this go? Is the Federal Government actually allowing private security to attack peaceful Native American protestors on US soil at the Dakota Pipeline that may endanger a nearby river? Why is the pipeline being pushed through? Is this a distant echo of situations like the North American Free Trade Highway where the Government fails disclose proper knowledge of plans to those impacted? Are these same principles alive and well in the current protests against the Socialist Government in Venezuela? Is this situation similar to what the US might face should we continue down this path? These questions and more in this informative episode of the Dudes and Beer podcast.
